The Mills family came to Merrick Co. in the late 1860's leaving the Mormon community in UT.
They lived about 3 miles east of Lone Tree which became Central City.
The attached picture was taken at the old Mills Homestead and is of the 50th wedding
anniversary celebration April 20, 1911. Richard Lock and Elizabeth (Knight) Mills
were married on April 7, 1861 in Bristol, Somersetshire, England.
