HELEN KEALY
Helen KEALY, 80, Sidney, died Friday, June 14 at Memorial Health Center in Sidney. Graveside services will be Monday, June 17 at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Schleicher of the First Christian Church officiating. Inurnment will follow. Cremation was held. Holechek Funeral Home in Sidney is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the American Heart Association. Helen Flora Kealy, the twin daughter of Harry Eugene and Nora (Teel) Heath was born April 4, 1922 in Broadwater. She grew up and attended schools there. At the age of 17, she moved to Sidney. On Jan. 10, 1948, Helen was united in marriage to Marvin LeRoy Kealy in Sidney. To this union five children were born. The family lived in Sidney until the Sioux Army Depot closed in 1967 when they moved to Fowler, Colo. They returned to Sidney in 1972. Helen devoted her life to being a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She was in the foster grandparent program at the daycare. She loved the outdoors, spending a lot of time in her yard. Survivors include two sons; three daughters and thier husbands; one sister; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers and four sisters.

ALFRED EDWARD (KRAJEWSKI) KRASKI

In Loving Memory Alfred Edward (Krajewski) Kraski 02/28/1927 - 12/11/2008 Alfred Edward (Krajewski) Kraski, 81 of Bridgeport, Nebraska died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A Catholic Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at All Soul’s Catholic Church with Fr. David Rykwalder officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport. Cremation was at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Alfred was born on February 28, 1927 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Edward A. and Katherine (Lubash) Krajewski. Upon return from the Army, he farmed near Oshkosh, NE. Alfred married Rita Mae Almberg in October 1948 and to this union five children were born, Gerald, Carol, Judy, Mary and Barbara. In January of 1982, he married Norreta (Harless) Erickson, enlarging his family with four additional step children, John, Ruth, Laura and Susan. Alfred also known as “Fritz” farmed and enjoyed buying, selling, and trading many different things. He loved to share stories and jokes with anyone he met. He also love being “Santa” for many families for a number of years. He was father to many, especially proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alfred is survived by his daughters, Carol Roy of Lakewood, CO, Judy (Melvin) Maika of Scottsbluff, Mary (Larry) Schledewitz of Bridgeport and Barbara (Mike) Boone of Pahrump, NV; sisters, Lorene (Budd) Leeper of Gering and Delores (Dean) Lake of Oshkosh, NE.; step children, John Erickson, Ruth Vasquez, Laura Hedin and Susan Myers; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Dave and Bonnie, Phil and Joan, Raymond and Betty and friends in Holdrege. STANLEY FRANK KRUL, SR.
ALLIANCE — Stanley Frank Krul, Sr., 84, of Alliance, died Monday, June 29, 2000, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2000, at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance with Rev. Jonathon Seng officiating. Burial will be in the Angora Cemetery with military rites. A memorial has been established for the Angora Cemetery. Donations may be sent in care of the family to HC 87 Box 27, Angora, Neb. 69331. Bates-Gould Funeral Home of Alliance is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 19, 1915, in Sargent, Neb., Custer County, to Frank and Anna (Matousek) Krul. The family moved to Hemingford, in 1918, where they purchased open prairie land and constructed a two-room sod house that is still standing today. He was educated in the Hemingford Public Schools, and then engaged in farming with his father until 1941. In February 1942, he joined the army serving in the U.S. Army 8th Air Force with B17 Heavy Bombers over Europe. Following Germany’s surrender, he was sent to North African Ferry Division where he served until the end of the war. He served faithfully, and well earning many medals and commendations. Following his discharge in September of 1945, he moved to Angora, where he has made his home on the ranch. In April 1947, he married Minnie Trojan of Omaha, in Alliance, and to this union, three children were born. He is survived by his wife, Minnie; children and their spouses, Stanley E. Krul of Angora, Richard E. and Patti Krul of Hemingford, and Connie and Michael Camacho of Scottsbluff; brothers, Alfred Krul of Bridgeport, Albert Krul of Salem, Mo., and Frank Krul of Pasco, Wash.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.
