Born 5 Sep 1907, Slugocin, Konin County, Poland. Parents: Ignacy & Michalina (Raczynski) Flisiak. "... he entered a seminary in Wloclawek, Poland. He was ordained on June 19, 1932, after which he served in the Polish cities of Konin (1932-1934), Szadek (1934-1936), Sadlno (1936-1937), Grzegorzew (1937-1938), and Sieradz (1938-1941)." He was arrested & taken to Dachau. When rescued, he weighed 80 lbs. He served as chaplain to POWs. 1949: Moved to Omaha, NE, and in 1955 to Silver Creek, NE. He died Thurs., 27 Dec 2001 at Genoa, NE.
