Susie K. Pinson was born in Platte Center, the daughter of Tom J.E. and Lena (Scheidel) Pinson and married Harold Bower. She is buried in Columbus Cemetery.

Children of Tom J.E. and Lena (Scheidel) Pinson: Mary (Pinson) Bruhn (Jun 26, 1891; Feb 13, 1969); Susie K. (Pinson) Bower (Dec 30, 1901 - Dec 11, 1995); Emma (Pinson) Mindrup (Dec 27, 1908 - Dec 20, 1996); and Elsie E. Pinson (Jun 28, 1893; Feb 19, 1900).

Harold Bower (1894-1963) was born in Filmore, Missouri to William C and Bessie (Heins) Bower.
