HISTORICAL SOCIETY DONATION: Darrell Koso and Jo Ann Auxier of the Richardson County Historical Society accept a check for $10,000 from Richardson County Bank and Trust Co. president Dana Rathje. The check represents one half of the bank's donation to the Society which is raising funds toward the purchase of their new museum site at 1401 Chase.Rathje said Richardson County Bank and Trust believes the new museum represents a valuable additon to the county and community and a worthy endeavor for support. Anyone interested in making a donation to the society may contact Koso, Mrs. Auxier or any other member of the board of directors.

RIBBON CUTTING: Mayor Marshall Maddox cuts the ribbon held by Darrell Koso and Jo Ann Auxier at the Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and Richardson County Historical Museum open house Saturday. A luncheon and tours of the new Museum followed with approximately 100 persons attending. Koso is president of the Society and Mrs. Auxier is treasurer.
