JOSEPHS

HESSLER

SCHIMPF

EXNER

Looking for info on Freidericke EXNER. A marriage certificate (12-28-1882) between Anton SMITH (SCHMIDT) and Louisa J. SCHIMPF (b. 1858, Buffalo, NY) lists mother of groom as Barbara EXNER and the mother of the bride as Freidericke followed by what looks like ditto marks under Barbaraâs last name, therefore EXNER. Need substantiation. SMITH and SCHIMPF lived next door at some time in Falls City, NE. Freiderickeâs first daughter, Lena SCHIMPF, married James Albert JOSEPHS on March 10, 1867. The SCHIMPFs are basically buried in Richardson county, Nebraska and were from "geboren in Sachsen" Saxony?, Niedersachsen? (lower Saxon), Prussia, Germany. Staighten me out to get to Germany. If ditto marks are true, then Jacob EXNER might be their father from Germany for which I need to search German records. John SCHIMPF (b. abt 1867 in NY) is the youngest and the only remaining male in this SCHIMPF line to carry the name forward. Do not know who he may have married. Paul HESSLER married Annie SCHIMPF (b. 1857, NY) on 4/11/1886 in Falls City for which there was no notation of her parents name on certificate. Any takers or help out there?? Thanks, Lee Smith. leedar@webbworks.com
