I am looking for my fathers side of the family, who's surname is Bouc. From our findings they had settled in Saunders Co near Plasi, NE around late 1886. I am hoping that maybe you would have some information to help my family and myself out.

I am researching WILSON and ROBINSON surnames in Saunders County. The ROBINSON name has strong ties to the Jacob SANDERS family and his sister Elizabeth SANDERS.

I am looking for information on the relatives of my great grandfather, Christopher Kennedy (1856 - 1897), whose middle name may have been Edward or Patrick. We are fairly certain Christopher came to the United States through Canada but we do not know where he lived in Ireland.
We are certain only of events since Christopher came to the United States. He settled in Colon, Nebraska and married Ellen Boland (Bolen or Bolin?)(1869 - 1933) of Brockville, Ontario, Canada at Sand Creek on January 5, 1892. The people who signed their wedding certificate as witnesses were Margaret and Nora O'Donnell and Jeremiah Dale. He may have gone to Colon because he had relatives there, possibly a cousin named Edward. Ellen was apparently French-Canadian.
Ellen and Christopher had two children, John Edward born December 6, 1893, and Paul Leo born December 4, 1895. Their names are listed in the birth registry for the Catholic Church in Colon. They have five generation of offspring anxious to learn more about the first Kennedys in our line to come to America.
Was there a newspaper in the county in 1892 - 1897 that might have recorded information about my great grandparents' wedding or childbirth or of my great grandfather's death? I would like to learn very much where his family lived in Ireland before he came to the United States. If there were other Kennedys living in the area at that time, I would also like to learn of a way to contact their descendants because they may be related in some way to my great grandfather.

My great-grandfather, R.A. Rivon, is shown in the 1870 Census living in Wahoo. His spouse is Cicelia (actually Cecilia). Another person, Celia Benson, is shown in the household. A Thomas Chapman is also shown living in Wahoo. His spouse was Tirzita, born in Chihuahua, Mexico. Joseph Chapman is also shown in the household. A long story is involved, interesting to me and my family, but probably not to anyone else. Be happy to share, however. Any information you can furnish on any of these people would be sincerely appreciated. Richard Loya
Addition Jan. 28, 2006: I have some information about Thomas P. Chapman who is listed in "Past and Present of Saunders County Nebraska, 1915." Briefly, he was born in Pennsylvania about 1830; served in the California Infantry during the Civil War; married Tirsita Aguirre in Las Cruces, NM,on February 8, 1864; was listed in the 1870 census in Wahoo; and died in Plattsmouth on January 28, 1875 (coincidently, 130 years ago today). I have a posting under Chapman, Rivon, and Benson on your website and found this information later. I will furnish any information you may want about these people, but would love more information from Wahoo about these people.
