In the obituary of my ancestor, Isaac MULHOLLAND (Malvern IA, 1905), it states that he had a brother living in Nebraska. In the 1900 census, the only MULHOLLANDs that I could find lived in Valparaiso Village in Saunders County. If anyone has researched this family, I would appreciate knowing if Roland MULHOLLAND is that brother. Thank you.

I am looking for information on Colbert Avis and his second wife, Tildy (Matilda?) Bryan. They lived in Ashland, Nebraska. Colbert died on 26 Feb 1891 in Ashland. I have not been able to find any information on Colbert after 1860. All information after that time came from my great gradnmother's scrapbook that she made in 1966.

Thompson; Sellen
My grandmother Florence E. Thompson was born in Wahoo, NE 2-7-1885, her step-father I believe was Franklin Watson. She married Fred J. Sellen born in NE 8-6-79 and moved to Arizona. Fred J. Sellen was from a Swedish imigrant family and became a conductor for the Sante Fe RR. My ggrandmother's first name is Ida. I would like to connect to both of these families.

I am still looking for anyone with any knowledge of a weekly newspaper published in Prague, Nebraska. It was established about 1931 or 1932. My parents, Joseph and Thecla Mueck published it from about 1933 to about 1938. They went bankrupt, and moved to Rock Island, Illinois. I believe it was called the Prague Herald.

I am looking for information about George Washington Danes. Born in 1829 in Ohio, married Harriet Reed. He was in the Illinois 50th regiment in the Civil War. He lived his later years in Saunders County. They had six children all born in Nebraska. I found him in the Nebraska 1900 census, living in Stocking Pct.? Saunders County. Nebraska vital statistics has no death record of either he or his wife. He died on 24 Apr. 1905, his wife died one month later. If anyone has any information on this family, I would really appriciate it!

I am trying to locate the names of my grandparents who lived in Ashland, Nebraska. My father's name was William Walker Dixon, who was born there in 1885. His father was James Thomas Dixon and I believe his mother's name was Mary Ann Dugan. I believe she was from Belfast, Ireland. I am attempting to trace the geneology for my family. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide me. Deane Dixon, Woodland Park, CO

Augusta (nee Mantai) Nitz b. 26 Nov 1872 and died Sept. 1973 in Wahoo, Nebraska (Saunders county). I believe her nephew was Gustav Hapke (b. 1 Dec 1883 in Poland and died in Wahoo, 29 Nov 1964). Since she was over 100 years old when she died, I am hoping there is an article or longer obituary on her. I would like to know when she emigrated, her husband's name, any other vitals, any children's names, and where she considered her birthplace to be. She is my maternal great-great-aunt. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.--Sigrid Perry
