I am wondering what happened to Edward Kratochvil and his family. We saw his grave, along with several of his children, all of whom died on the same day, 1-30-66 and one child who died in early Feb of that year. Thanks for any information regarding this family.

CRAWFORD James W., son of David Crawford and Margaret Tennent. James was born in 1852 in possibly Edinburgh, Scotland and died in 1928 in Wahoo, Neb. James, several siblings and parents immigrated to Ontario, Canada about 1849. He married Lucinda ? who was born in 1853, and died in 1887. James and Lucinda are both buried in the Sunrise Cemetery in Wahoo. I am searching for census and other records of them and their children, one of whom may be Sam Crawford, a famous California baseball player.

I've located my GGrandfather, George H. Smith, on the 1880 Census for Valaparaiso, Saunders, NE. The census states that he is a boarder studying medicine. He was born in 1864, NY. I'm trying to determine what facility existed in Valaparaiso that he would be attending to study medicine. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.
