My g-g-great grandparents came to the US from Sweden and evidently both landed in Colon Nebraska where they died. I would like to confirm this. His name was Nils Sorensen and he died in Colon Jan 1888. His wife was Anna Marie and she evidently lived to age 102 and died in Colon in 1912. I would love to know where they're buried, know if there's a headstone, and confirm anything about their residency in Saunders County. Thank you!!

Looking for information on the parents of George A. Olson. 1880 census says they were Andrew Olson and Ellen______. Possibly Nilson or Nisdatter? I need the surname of George's wife, Minnie. By the census she was born in Nebraska about 1887. Anyone know her surname? Where born, Saunders Co. or elsewhere? George's sibling according to 1900 census were: Oscar, Henry, Arthur. Anyone tracing these families? George and Minnie's children according to 1910 census were: Nels Vernon, Inez Laverne, Signe Mathilda, and Eunice Delaine. Any information on these families would be helpful. Am tracing this for a good friend.

Trying to find death date of Martha Ann CLOUSE (ca 1839-????), widow of William Calvin Clouse. Calvin died 15 Jul 1911 and has a marker in Ashland Cemetery. Martha Ann filed for his pension from Nebraska shortly thereafter.

In my ancestor search I have come with the next infomation about family in the USA. I would like to come in contact and to have further information about my Speckmann family
1. Jann Speckmann was born on 26-12-1818 in Schirum (D), son of Harm Hinrich Speckmann and Harmke Hinrichs. Jann died on 30-01-1896 on Schirum, at the age of 77 years. Jann married Gesche Dirks. Gesche was born on 06-07-1823 in Schirum. Gesche died on 18-05-1904 on Schirum, at the age of 80 years.

1 Dirk Speckmann, born in Schirum Follow 1.1
2 Hinrich Speckmann, born on 07-12-1857 in Schirum

1. 1 Dirk Speckmann was born in Schirum, son of Jann Speckmann and Gesche Dirks. Dirk married Maria Schmidt. Maria was born on 20-03-1850 in Wiesens (D). Maria died on 15-05-1899, at the age of 49 years.

John immigrated to the USA at the MS SPREE from Bremen to New York at 27-Feb.-1891.
John married Emma Passo. Emma was born on 21-10-1882 USA. Emma died on 11-04-1950, at the age of 67 years. John died on 25-10-1961 in Wahoo, Saunders, Nebraska at the age of 85 years.

This family originates with the Gilson's. I am researching descendents of George W. Gilson of Maine, married to Abigail Hopkins of Indiana/Canada. Children are: Mary J. last name unknown & descendants unknown. Isabelle/Elizabeth/Queen/Queenie McAdow/Cornwell/Munger, her descendants - Children: Earle - who moved to and died in California, and Ruth who married Arnold Koplin, that worked for the PD, and their children - Richard and Phillip. I have much ancestry information on the Gilson's - and newly discovered info on Elizabeth/Isabelle/Queen/Queenie and some on her descendants. And a lot on George's son Charles & his descendants, as I am his direct descendant.
The Gilson's lived in Minnesota, traveled through Wisconsin, lived in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois and California.
