I've been researching Nebraska Family members for the last couple of years, and with the help of State and County coordinators, the genealogy information I've received is greater than I have expected. I want to thank everyone who has helped me with this task, as sometimes it seems to just stop---then like last month, I get a e-mail from Sherri Brakenhoff, who sent me an 1880 census, which revealed the name of a family member that had'nt been listed on my family tree. Thank You all.- Submitter: Gary Chartraw (gchartraw@netscape.net)

I love your website. My great-grandparents lived in the Omaha area during the late 1800's and early 1900's and I found the history of Omaha/South Omaha quite interesting (especially the part about the first Executive Ball--my husband and I are still wiping the tears of laughter from our eyes). I don't know if the Paddock and Rogers mentioned in the article are from my family line, but it was definately interesting reading!

Hello: In many other county websites in US, there is a place for one to enter obituries. I have some for Nebraska which I would like to contribute, and Dundy County is included. Any plans to create such a repository? Also, is it possible within your site to do a surname search? Maybe I missed it, but I'd like to enter a surname, and have your site find and list each place in the various data bases where that surname appears. Can do?- Submitter: Shelley Grant (shefar@yahoo.com)

Dear Mrs. Mares and Mr.Beaman
Thank you!! Thank You!! Thank You!!!
I have been searching for the burial records for my grgrgr grandparents, who are also relatives of Mr.Beaman. I found them in the Rock Creek Cemetery, quite by accident. I had searched before but didn't find it. The cemetery was originally on Patrick and Nancy Bennett's property, next to the school and church. My gr grandfather was William Wesley Cunningham, grdson of the above family. He was one of her sons by her first Marriage to Edward Cunningham who died in the Civil War. She married second,Simeon Sleeth. His relative is in the same cemetery. I thought I would never find them-I found a goldmine! Joan- Submitter: Billy E. Green (bgreen@theriver.com)
