We visited NE in mid-Sept on a genealogical journey through Cass and Custer Counties. For the past few years, I have watched the NE GenWeb project grow, resulting in thrilling ancestral discoveries for my family, to say the least. The wealth of information presented by this project and the subsequent Cass and Custer Co GenWeb pages on the Internet enabled me to better prepare for my in-person NE research in courthouses, historical societies and cemeteries. Thus, I was more efficient in asking for and collecting necessary data, and able to obtain more types of it. The employees we met were ever so kind and helpful, and they greatly contributed to the success of our trip. Keep up the excellent work! Thank you!

I have not visited this site for sometime and it sure is great. My Sykes family research is not going as good as I want it to, but then I have not been working on it much in the past few months. I am very happy to see that we have a place to search our state history. It seems to me that you have really made some good changes. I will be back to visit very soon. My morning is pretty full today, this afternoon I will clear sometime to further my search. Sincerely, Cynthia(Sykes)Smetter

It will be exciting to search through each and hope to discover many more things to know about my families roots in the early 1900's period there. Sincerely, Lori

Just found this site. Intend to use its various pages - family members live in eastern Nebraska and the ancestors I am seeking settled near Blair in 1854 (Cummings Precinct) and I am really, really, really interested in learning more of those family members and those associated by "friendship" who came west with the Mormon Pioneers and went no further west than the now Blair area.

You are to be greatly commended for the abundent time and effort applied in establishing this site. Lawanda Darby nee Norris.
