Post: I have just discovered this site and I think it's wonderful. I was born and raised in Harlan County, my grandparents homesteaded there. We are also among those displaced by the dam. I also found on this site the years my great grandfather was pastor at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. I recognise so many names and a lot of the old pictures. Thank you so much.

Post: I was able to locate a researcher by the Paid Researcher Page of the NeGenWeb Project. He was extremely helpful. Kept me well informed and was thorough in the research he did for me. He also noticed other items of interest for the family I was researching that might be helpful. Post: I was thrilled to receive such detailed information on my lineage. Your Platte County coordinator was most helpful in finding names, birth dates, and deaths. She even sent me an e-mail photo of my GG grandparetns and their children! WOW!!
