LIEUT. GROSVENOR P. CATHER, Ex' -08 Lieut. Cather received his commission at the first Officers' Training Camp and was immediately sent to France. After training there for several months, he took his post at the front. On the morning of May 28, 1918, he received citation for bravery and later in the day was killed in action at the battle of Cantigny. His home was at Bladen, Nebraska.
