DAVID D> BARRETT, Ex - '19 David D. Barrett came to the University of Nebraska in 1917, from Leland Stanford, where he had attended college the previous year. In June 1918, he enlisted in the navy and spent three months at the Great Lakes. He came back to the University of Nebraska at the opening of the school year to instruct in the S. N. T. C. He was stricken with influenza and died at a local hospital on September 27, 1918. David Barrett lived at Omaha, Nebraska.
