RAYMOND J. SAUNDERS, A. B., '17
Lieut. Raymond Saunders, of Billings, Montana, was among the Nebraska men who went to the first training camp at Ft. Snelling.
In August 1917, he was transferred to the Aviation branch at Columbus, Ohio, and two months later he sailed for France.
He was assigned to the 94th Aero Squadron, which was commanded by Capt. Rickenbacher. On December 7,
1918, the War Department officially reported Raymond Saunders as missing in action since October 22.
