Photos of some gravestones taken in 1990. Please compare to cemetery extracts published in "Polk County Heritage" and available through the Polk County website of NEGenWeb Project. We did NOT photograph all the stones; collection is not complete for any surname.
     Many of these stones were shot 2-3 at a time and with an effort made to include the larger plot stone in the background of each. That was not efficient. The focus was poor. Ted has done what he can to provide legible text. If you have a sharp photo to offer as replacement - please scan and send.
     We were not aware of any boundaries between the two cemeteries when we were there. Did not make notes about the gravemarkers, at least not with the film index. (Meaning GAR, and markers of other fraternal organizations)
