At this time a heated argument regarding boundary lines of the various councils was disposed of by the chairman being instructed to appoint a committee of three to take the matter up with the newly elected State Deputy and his District Deputies to establish boundary lines for all the Councils in the State.

PROCEEDINGS OF ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Chairman appointed the following brothers on the Boundary Lines Committee: H. J. Hammond of O'Neill, G. J. Bauman of Grand Island, and James A. Cleary of Kearney.

At this time a general discussion by the Secretaries regarding the various ways of keeping the members in good standing by collection of dues and insurance assessments was indulged in; this being one of the most important duties of an officer in any council and one of the prime motives of the Secretaries' organization is becoming more interesting each year, and every Secretary should make sure of being present.
Instructions on reinstatements, final withdrawal and transfer from Associate to Insurance was talked over with much interest by all present and being of great value to the new secretaries, as well as the old-timers.
Several of the secretaries being delegates to the state convention and wishing to be present at the election of officers, a motion to adjourn was made and carried, closing one of the most successful meetings of the Financial Secretaries' Association since organized.

J. H. PIEPER,
Chairman.
MARK BURKE,
Secretary..
