     The above table was copied from the Omaha Weekly Herald of Oct. 17, 1871, Adams, Brown, Clay, Franklin, Greeley, Hamilton, Howard, Kearney, Nuckolls, Sherman, Valley and Webster counties were included in the list of the offical canvass, but no returns were credited to them. Only one of these counties--Hamilton--sent returns in 1870. In 1872 Clay, Franklin, Hamilton, Howard, Kearney, Nuckolls, and Webster made returns.
