PHILENA B. CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born May 17, 1852, at Binghamton, N. Y. When twelve years of age came to Wyoming, Iowa, with her parents. Married Josiah M. Swigart of Maquoketa, Ia., and lived there in 1926. Mr. Swigart passed away November 30, 1904, at San Antonio, Texas, buried at Maquoketa. Children:

1	Carrie May Swigart, born March 12, 1877.
2	Nettie Inez Swigart, born August 10, 1879.
3	Grace Louise Swigart, born May 23, 1884.

FRANCES AUGUSTA CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born October 16, 1853, at Binghamton, N. Y. Died May 11, 1895, at Omaha, Nebr. Married at Wyoming, Iowa, Charles Emery Gard, born September 13, 1843, at Newark, N. J. He enrolled in Company 3, 11th Reg. Infantry N. J. volunteers and was discharged at the close of the war. He took part in thirteen hard fought battles, one of which was Gettysburg. After the war he settled at Wyoming, Iowa, later moving to Omaha. Occupation, contractor. He died November 5, 1924, at Milford, Nebr. Children:

1	Mary Rebecca Gard, born December 27, 1871, at Salem, Mo.
2	Abigail Philena Gard, born April 30, 1873, at Salem, Mo.
3	Leon De Gard, born January 14, 1881, at Wall Lake, Ia. Died young.
4	Charles Emery Gard, Jr., born September 17, 1884, at Lake View, Ia.
5	Carolyn Elizabeth Gard, born August 16, 1890, at Omaha, Nebr.

JANETT AMORY CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White') was born November 17, 1856, at Binghamton, N. Y. Married in 1878 at Wyoming, Iowa, Frederick Hodgeman Foote, who was born in 1854 at Port Henry, N. Y., son of Wallace and Hilah E. Foote, After finishing grammar school at New Haven, Conn., he went four years to Sheffield Scientific School at Yale University. He became an iron manufacturer and held many responsible positions, among them, vice-president for thirteen years of the Illinois Steel Co. of Chicago. He passed away it (sic) Sarasota, Fla., in October, 1924. His wife died in August, 1917. Children:

	in 1901. Married in 1906 Ethel Baldwin of Decatur, Ill. Died in 1922. Address of his family in 1925 was 1020 West Hill St., Champaign, Ill. Children: Constance, Wallace H. and Emily Ann.
2	Hilah Rebecca Foote, born June 23, 1882, a graduate of National Park Seminary, Washington, D. C. Has an extensive musical education. In 1925 was holding the position of Supervisor of Music in Asheville, N. C. Address, No. 18 All Souls Cresent, Biltmore, N. C.
3	William Henry Foote, born June 9, 1884, a graduate of Michigan University in 1905. Married Mrs. Mary Tabler, who died in 1924. He was associated in 1925 with the Standard Oil Co. at Vandelia, Ia. Address Dickerson Hotel.

RUFUS AMROY CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born May 29, 1858, at Binghamton, N. Y. Came to Wyoming, Iowa, with his parents in 1864. Married March 19, 1880, at Jamestown, Wis., Settie A. Lillie. Influenced by his uncle, Ben White, he went to Clarenden, Texas, in 1887 and was associated with him there in the mercantile business and in real state. He died December 18, 1924, at that place, where his widow still resides. Children:

1	Bessie Mabel, born November 21, 1882. Educated at the University at Fort Worth, Texas. Married June 5, 1907, Isaac Whitfield Carhart in Clarenden, Texas. Is an accomplished musician. Residing in 1926 at Greenville, Texas. Children: Isaac Whitfield and Rufus Amroy.
2	Frederick Ellis, born November 5, 1886. Has A. B. degree from Austin College, Sherman, Texas. Occupation, president of the Donley Co. State Bank. Married June 23, 1907, in Sherman, Texas, Mona Sue Kelley, an accomplished musician. Children: Fred Kelley, Mary Jo, George Edward, Fred Ellis and Samuel Lewis.
3	Josephine Lester, born July 21, 1894, at Clarenden, Texas. Educated at Manhattan College (Kansas), Clarenden College and Southwest College at Georgetown, Texas, specializing in music. Married July 14, 1915, James D. Browder and lived on a ranch nine miles from Memphis, Texas. Children: Josephine, Maudestelle and Geraldine.

CHARLOTTE LOUISE CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born January 17, 1860, at Binghamton, N. Y. Married December 23, 1886, Ellis E. Girton, who in 1926 was Supervisor of Agents for the Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Co., of Iowa, and living at 2701 Cottage Ave., DesMoines.

ISAAC C. CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born June 7, 1863, at Binghamton, N. Y. Married Bell Crawford, daughter of Colonel P. W. and Harriett C. Crawford at Dubuque,

Iowa, November 12, 1885, at which place they reside in 1926. Occupation, insurance and real estate. One son:

Donald Crawford Chamberlain, born November 13, 1899. Married August 22, 1925, Natalie Rhomberg, daughter of Titus E. and Mary Elizabeth Rhomberg at Brainerd, Minn., where she was drowned at Clark Lake June 24, 1926.

BENJAMIN WAITE CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born March 4, 1863, at Binghamton, N. Y. Went with his uncle, Benjamin Horton White, in 1885 to Clarenden, Texas, where he acquired considerable property. His wife was Katheryn Lewis. He died December 19, 1921, and is buried at Clarenden. Children:

1	Katheryn Lewis, married J. R. Calhoun and lived in 1925 at Clarenden, Texas. One child: Katherine.
2	Harriett Lewis, married M. L. Kelley, a cotton broker. Lived in 1925 at Clarenden, Texas. Children: Martin, Margaret and Madolin.
3	Park Chamberlain, a veteran of the World War, being an instructor of engines. Married in June, 1925. Is a ranchman.

JOSEPHINE LESTER CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born July 17, 1868, at Wyoming, Iowa. Married in Chicago, where she was an instructor in music, William Pitt Riley, a grocery merchant at Port Arthur, Canada. He later became a salesman and at present (1926) is president of the Western Wholesale Grocery Co., of Canada, at Winnipeg, where he and his son and daughter live at 303 Wellington Cresent. They were married October 9, 1895, and she died May 21, 1921. Children:

1	Richard Chamberlain Riley, born in 1900. Educated at Winnipeg and at MacGill University at Montreal. Is associated with his father in business.
2	Florence Riley, born in 1903. Graduated from the Minnesota State University.

RICHARD JOHN CHAMBERLAIN (Mary Rebecca White⁹) was born November 15, 1869, at Wyoming, Iowa. Married March 12, 1899, at Chicago, Louise Staudemayer. Living in 1927 at Clarenden, Texas, where he and his family are engaged in cattle raising and stock farming. Children:

1	William Park Chamberlain, born April 25, 1901.
2	John Jacob Chamberlain, born August 7, 1903.
3	Eugene Frederick Chamberlain, born November 19, 1906.

ADA LESTER (Josephine White⁹) was born November 6, 1879, at Binghamton, N. Y. Educated at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N. Y. Married November 14, 1905, in Binghamton, Virgil Louis Hammond, who was born December 28, 1880, in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was educated at Peekskill Military Academy in N. Y. Occupation, exporting lumber. During the World War he served the government in selecting and obtaining lumber for airplanes. Address in 1926 Gainsville, Ga. One child:

Virginia VanRensselaer Hammond, born April 8, 1908, in Binghamton.

EVALINA RUTH LYON (Thomas White Lyon⁹) was born November 21, 1850, at Binghamton, N. Y. Moved with her parents in 1855 to Winona, Minn., and later to St. Charles, Minn. Married Mac Clark. Children:

1	Winifred, born May 13, 1869. Married Clifford Hogle and have one son, Clark, born May 18, 1900, in Seattle, Wash.
2	Margaret, born February 21, 1874. Married Charles Cool. Lived in 1925 in St. Paul, Minn. No children.
3	Georgia, married Elgin R. Dickson. Resides at St. Charles, Minn. Had one daughter who died when about five.

WALTER STANLEY LYON (Addison John Lyon⁹) was born September 15, 1858, at Binghamton, N. Y. He was a lumber merchant. Died March 23, 1924, and is buried at Binghamton, where he is survived by his Wife, Jessie Clark Heywood, who lived in 1925 at No. 97 Carroll St. Children:

1	Florence, who married H. B. Ingham and lived in 1925 at 590 Clark St., Waverly, N. J.
2	Bessie, who married H. W. Gillette and lived at No. 97 Carroll St., Binghamton.

ALFRED H. LYON (Addison Lyon⁹) whose address in 1925 was No. 5 Pine St., Binghamton, N. Y. One daughter:

JOHN ADDISON LYON (Addison John Lyon⁹) was born November 19, 1868, at Binghamton, N. Y. Married April 11, 1888, Charlotte F. Thorn, born in England March 22, 1869. Address in 1925 No. 3 John St., Binghamton, N. Y. Children:

1	Geraldine, born September 5, 1893. Married ------ Dickinson. Lives at 16 Newton Ave., Binghamton.
2	Addison John, born March 22, 1900.

HALYCON GILBERT BAILY (Tamar Parmelia Lyon⁹) was born April 2, 1873, and educated at Wilbraham Academy at Wilbraham, Mass. Married September 16, 1902, at Brewster, N. Y., Anna L. Hine, born at Brewster February 16, 1875, daughter of George Hine and Josephine Foster. She was educated at Nassau Institute, a boarding school in Brooklyn. She later finished at Riverside School in New York City. Six years after their marriage they moved to Danbury, Conn., where they lived (1926) at No. 11 Park Ave. Children:

MAY BAILY (Tamar Parmelia Lyon⁹) was born November 27, 1874. Married August 30, 1910, Patrick O'Connor, born March 17, 1874. Occupation, farmer. Address, Brewster, N. Y., Dingle Ridge. These are the fourth and fifth generations of this family living on this old farm, an ancestor, Joseph Baily, living there in 1740. Children:

1	May O'Connor, born July 10, 1912.
2	Ruth O'Connor, born August 10, 1913.

SHELDON ANDREW GIVENS (Eugenia Harris Lyon⁹) was born March 13, 1872. (See page 261, April 1925) He died September 13, 1925, at Jacksonville, Fla., where his wife still resides in 1927.

John Bowan Brazelton died March 24, 1912, aged 84 years, 4 months, 20 days, at Lincoln, Nebraska.
Eliza Jane Brazelton, wife of Samuel Culbertson, died April 21, 1925, aged 92 years, 8 months, 12 days at
Omaha, Nebraska.

This Bible contains the Aprocrypha, a Concordance, Old and New Testaments, Chapter "Ezdras", and signed by John Brown, late minister of the gospel at Haddington, in Scotland. Alexander's Stereotype Edition, now in the possession of Mrs. Elizabeth Gaylord Rathburn.
