      Judge Kinney moved that the report of the Secretary and Treasurer be received and referred to the finance and auditing committee, which motion was unanimously adopted.

      The journal of the last meeting of the Board, September, 1875, was read and approved by the Board and signed by the Secretary and acting President.

      Col. Mathewson moved that the Board do now proceed to fill vacancies in the Board, and to elect members in place of those whose term of office expires with this meeting of the Board, which motion

was adopted, and the following named gentlemen were elected members of the Board for two years, viz:

Adam Rankin, Cozad, Dawson county.
John F. Kinney, Nebraska City, Otoe county.
G. W. E. Dorsey, Fremont, Dodge county.
A. D. Williams, Kenesaw, Adams county.
D, T. Drake, Crete, Saline county.
C. W. Lyman, Beatrice, Gage county.
N. S. Belden, North Bend, Dodge county.
J. Vallery, Sr., Plattsmouth, Cass county.
Edward McIntyre, Seward, Seward county.
H. C. Addis, Omaha, Douglas county.
C. H. Winslow, Mt. Pleasant, Cass county.
A. G. Hastings, Lincoln, Lancaster county.
Ira W. La Munion, North Platte, Lincoln county.
J. T. Allan, Omaha, Douglas county.
R. Daniels, Gilmore, Sarpy County.

      And the following named gentlemen were elected for one year, as follows.

      Samuel Holman, St. Paul, Howard county, was elected in place of C.C. Van, absent; W. T. Dodge, Osceola, Polk county, was elected for one year in place of Wm. Latta, absent; and Frank Parcel, Fremont, Dodge county, was elected for one year in place of G. C. Potwin, absent.

      On motion the Board proceeded to election of Officers of the Board for the ensuing year, which election resulted as follows, viz:

Moses Stocking, Wahoo, President.
J. F. Kinney, Nebraska City, 1st Vice President.
C. Mathewson, Norfolk, 2nd Vice President.
James W. Moore, Nebraska City, Treasurer.
D. H. Wheeler, Plattsmouth, Secretary.

      The President thereupon appointed the following Board of Managers for the ensuing year, viz:

     A. G. Hastings, C. Mathewson, H. C. Addis, C. H. Winslow, J. F. Kinney.

      Which appointments were confirmed by a vote of the Board.

      On motion the Secretary was instructed to collate and publish
