HERMAN DIERS.


   HERMAN DIERS, representative from the thirty-eighth district, York county, is a member of the Peoples' Independent Party, and was born in Clayton county, Iowa, November 22, 1860. He came to Nebraska in April, 1881. Was married to Mattie S. Barnes, September 9, 1885, and has a family of three boys and one girl. He is a merchant at Gresham, York county, and has not before held public office of any importance.

J. H. EDMONDSON.


   J. H. EDMONDSON, Peoples' Independent party member of the house of representatives from Hamilton county, the forty-first district, was born in the state of Pennsylvania, April 20, 1858, and came to Nebraska from that state in 1878. He was married in the year 1883 to Nellie Sauls, daughter of Hon. J. H. and Rachel Sauls. They have two children. Mr. Edmondson is a practicing attorney in the town of Aurora, and has been county judge of Hamilton county for four years.

JOHN E. EVANS.


   JOHN E. EVANS, member of the lower house from the fifty-fourth district, one of the largest in area in the state, is a Republican and was born in Tioga county, Pennsylvania, November 7, 1847. He came to this state from Wisconsin in 1886, was married to Miss Marion Hall, and has one child. Is engaged in the real estate and abstracting business in North Platte, where he has resided since 1871. Has been county clerk, postmaster, deputy secretary of state, and department commander of the G. A. R.; represents the largest constituency of any member of the house of representatives.

A. H. FELLERS.


  A. H. FELLERS, member of the lower house from the first representative district of Nebraska, Richardson county, is a Democrat. He was born in Pennsylvania, June 27, 1851, and came from that state to Nebraska in March, 1877. His family consists of a wife, two-girls, and one boy. Mr. Fellers resides in the town of Humboldt, where he is engaged in the furniture and undertaking business. He has been mayor of his home town three terms, member of the council three years, and has been manager of the Humboldt Telephone Company since its inception.

CHARLES A. FOWLER.


   CHARLES A. FOWLER, who represents the Republicans from Fillmore county, the thirty-seventh district, in the lower house, is an attorney residing at Ohiowa. He was born in New York state in 1846, and came from that state to Nebraska in the year 1879. Mr. Fowler was married to Abbie V. Church and has a family of two boys and one girl. He was state senator two years ago, in the twenty-sixth session of the Nebraska Legislature.

M. L. FRIEDRICH.


   M. L. FRIEDRICH, one of the Republican members of the Legislature from Cass county, the seventh district, was born in Germany in 1854, coming to Nebraska from Illinois in the year 1881. He was married to Miss Era Volk, January 30, 1879; is a farmer by occupation, and present address is Plattsmouth, Cass county. His election to the twenty-seventh session of the Nebraska Legislature is the first political office of any importance ever held by Mr. Friedrich.
