In olden days, when things collegiate were still unknown, waters covered the face of the earth. Slowly the waters receded and the chosen land emerged. Various species of animals and tribes of "Red Men" covered the land for a time, but they soon gave way to the dwellings and cities of the white people. The chosen land was called "Nebraska" and was soon to be covered with prosperous farms.
