Old Timers Ball Game

   The old timers played to a 7-7 tie in seven innings in one of the sports highlights of the Centennial celebration.
   The baseball careers of the players involved dated back to 1919 (Albert Janicek), with Leo Janicek a close second (1920).


    The roster of players participating included the following: Steve Davis, Leo Janicek, Mel Janicek, Dan Janicek, Randy Janicek, Gerald Janicek, Albert Janicek, Mike Hanus, Steve Minnick, Jeff Didier, Tom Davis, Jerry Hiller, Larry Schmid, Ray Meysenburg, Harry Morbach, Don Peters, Ken Ebel, Chris Hiller, Ken Scholz, Pat Meysenburg, Galen Bock, Russ Reba, Ed Meysenburg, Bernie Meysenburg, Rick Hanus, Keith Hoshor, George Meyers, and Gene Kuhn, Jr.
