The VERY BEST teacher I ever had, was a distant family relative that taught one room school, after only 3 months of education at Kearney Normal College. She taught me all I know today about reading. She was excellent and she had 14 students at the time I was in Kindergarten. This school was near St. Edward Nebraska. Due to her instructions and innate teaching knowledge, I can read and spell today.
