Men by these present that I Nehemiah Furbur of the Town of
Newington in the County of Rockingham in the State of New Hampshire
Yeoman For and in Consideration of the Love and good Will and affection
which have and bear unto my son in Law Timothy Roberts and my Daughter
Sarah Roberts the Wife of the Above said Roberts of the Town of Rochester
in the County of Strafford in the State aforesd Gentleman the Receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained and
Releafed and by those presents so give grant bargain alien and
releafe convey and confirm to them my said Son Timothy Roberts
and wife above said and unto their Heirs and afsigns forever unto
a certain half Lot of land in the first Division in Rochester Granted
originally to William Furbur of said Newington deceafed and is
the lot of Land where the above said Roberts Now dwells to have the
Northerly side of said lot joining to lands of Stephen Harford and
to run by the main Road down so far as to the one half of said lot
and then to run (?ush) a point of Compafs the length of the Lot as
to Contain one half the same be more of lefs together with all the
belongings thereon ~~
To Have and To Hold the said granted premifes with the appurtenances thereof to them the said Timothy and Sarah Roberts and unto their heirs and afsigns to their proper use benefits and behoof forever Hereby engaging to Warrant and defend the said Granted premifes against all claims or demands of my person or persons claiming by from or under me my heirs and afsigns In witnefs where of I have herein to set my hand and seal this ninth Day of April Anno que Domini one thousand Seven hundred Eighty three. |
