William J. HOWE, Sergeant, enlisted first as a private in Co. I, 1st NHV Apr 10, 1861, age 23; reside Holderness; mustered out Aug 9 Aug 1861 Concord, NH; on Aug 22, 1862 was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to Co. E. 12th NHV on Sept 5 1862; killed Gettysburg, PA July 2, 1863.

Sylvester D. HOWE, Sylvester D. HOWE, Musician; enlisted May 8, 1861; served three months on the quota of Ashland, Co. D, 1st Regt.; mustered out, Aug. 9, 1861; Aug. 21, 1861, re-enlisted in Co. F, 4th Regt., and served till Jan. 19, 1862, when he was discharged for disability. Aug. 19, 1862, he re-enlisted in Co. E, 12th Regt.; Jan. 20, '63, was detailed as nurse at the hospital of Third Division, Third Corps, at Falmouth, Va.; subsequently served in hospital at Potomac Creek and at Washington; July 3, 1863, ordered to Portsmouth Grove, R. I., and transferred to the 18th Co. 2nd Battalion Invalid Corps, Dec. 12, 1863; discharged for disability, Sept. 11, 1865, at Albany N. Y., term expired.

Jeduthan ATWOOD, Private, resided North Hampton; enlisted August 14, 1862, age 44.

 

Albert W. BACHELDER, Private, resided North Hampton; enlisted August 12, 1862, age 18.

 

Galen EASTMAN, Private, enlisted Aug 22 1862, age 20; resided Plymouth; wounded May 3, 1863; discharged May 19 1865.

Hiram T. HEATH, was 23 years old and residing in Bridgewater when he enlisted, Aug. 18, 1862, on the quota of Bridgewater. He was wounded at Chancellorsville, May 3, 1863, and Feb. 28, 1864, transferred to 86th Co., 2nd Battalion, Veteran Reserve Corps, and discharged Aug. 14, 1865, at Washington, D. C.

Joseph E. SANBORN, age 24, enlisted from Bridgewater, Aug. 18, 1862; wounded at Chancellorsville, May 3, 1863, and discharged for disability at Washington, D. C., Apr. 10, 1864.
