Hiram Daniel OSBORNE,  enlisted September 1, 1864 at Concord, New Hampshire at the age of 21. His civilian occupation is listed as farmer. He was sworn in at Manchester, N.H. by Daniel N. Prescott; Justice of the peace. His physical description is listed as 5 ft. 10 inches tall with grey eyes, brown hair and a fine complexion. In addition to his enlistment paper, there are numerous muster sheets, and pension papers, all in the possession of Charles L. Robitaille, Jr.  Honorable Discharge. Discharge paper is dated 2/22/1867 and is signed by: Frederick Smyth, Governor of New Hampshire and ??att ?ead, Adjutant General. Handwritten label on back of frame reads: Hiram D. Osborne 1st Regiment, Heavy Artillery Company F, N.H. Volunteers. Chuck Robitaille
