I as a Private on  Sept. 2 1861; mustered in Sept. 18, 1861; appointed Sergt.; re-enlisted Feb. 15 1864; mustered in Feb. 29, 1864; wounded at Drewry's Bluff, Va., May 16, 1864, and at Deep Bottom, Va., Aug. 16, 1864; appointed 2d Lt., Co. D, March 1, 1865; 1st Lt., June 2, 1865; mustered out Aug. 23, 1865.

Charles C. CLARK; Corporal; discharged for disability, Dec 5, 1861; re-enlisted, Fifteenth Regiment Co. H, Corporal, Oct 11, 1862

 

Moses ASH, of  Bristol, Grafton; was born in Hill and was a resident of New Hampton when he enlisted, Aug. 14, 1861. He reenlisted in the same company Feb. 14, 1864. But little is known of his record except that he died of wounds Nov. 14, 1864, at Fortress Monroe. His second enlistment was on the quota of Bristol.

Edward L., GARVIS, paid substitute, was born in Germany; age, 29; residence given as Bristol; enlisted, Dec. 23, 1863; mustered out, Aug. 23, 1865; supposed to be identical with E. L. GERRISH, of town report.

Albert S. FLINT, Private, Born in Syracuse NY. Enlisted Aug 6 1862 at age 21 from Wilton, NH. Mustered in Aug 21 1862; died Aug 8 1863 of disease at Beaufort, SC; buried at Florence National Cemetery in Florence, SC. Grave marked as being from MA. Grave # 434.
