William F. Pfc. Robert Brian Burgoyne, served in Vietnam 1967-1968 with the 9th Infantry Division. He was born in Elizabeth NJ August 9th 1946. Attended Elizabeth public schools before moving to Lakewood NJ in 1960. Bobby was awarded 2 Purple Hearts and a Silver Star "for gallantry in action while engaged in military conflict against an armed hostile force" He passed away July 2004 in Hudson, Florida where he lived for 25 years. Mitchell, Bob, Bob was a career person in the military. At the time of his enlistment He resided in Toms River, NJ. He served on active duty from April 1961 until November 1980, when He was eligible to retire with full pension.
He served "in country", as a field medic or "Corpsman" with the 3rd Marine Division. Although He was a Navy Corpsman, they are attached to the U.S. Marines because the Marines come under the Department of the Navy. They do not have their own medical corps, so they serve with them as part of their duty throughout their career.
Bob served in Vietnam from Nov 1966 to Nov 1967, earning the Combat Action Ribbon, and numerous other awards and medals. He continued his career, serving on several Navy ships, and overseas assignments until he was honorably discharged upon retirement of a 20 year career.

George C. McGinley, Jr, is a Vietnam Vet. UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, active duty -12/69 -9/71, Happy Valley 3rd MP. Honorable Discharge, 9/71 He's is and has been a teacher at Cape May County Technical High School for 30 years. 7 children, Living in Upper Township. (Submitted by wife: Bridgette McGinley)

Earl Adams, Jr. Born 1941 at Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ.
Lived in Louden, NJ until early 1952 then moved to Haddon Heights, NJ. Entered the
United States Air Force April 1959 and retired from same May 1979. Served in
Texas, Colorado, Greece, Montana twice, Tokyo, Japan, Tampa, Florida, Vietnam,
Thailand, Iceland H3 and finally Spokane, WA. See my web site:

James J. Donohue Born Plainfield, New Jersey. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy from Middlesex, N.J. After boot camp my first asignment was the U.S.S. Grand Canyon A.D. 28. Then the U.S.S. Robert S. Vail, Jr., son of Robert S. Vail Sr., (WWI vet). Born 7/8/1930 in Plainfield, NJ. Graduate of Plainfield High School.
