4/12/2006 - (Information from records filed with Alma Town Clerk relating to the cemetery from "Allen Cemetery Association, Inc." and miscl. information prior to it's incorporation on 24 December, 1923.)

• During 1920's correspondence shows Upkeep of HARE, CHAPLE, JOHNSTON, STERNBERG lots by Leona Chapel Morgan living in Tulsa, OK.
• Cemetery Association received Upkeep bequeath from Marcia D. Allen for Lots: MEAD, Orlo ALLEN, Jay ALLEN, & Newell PHILLIPS Lots in 1953.
• NOBLES; 1937 Notes of Cemetery show Upkeep of Lots Agreement - "William NOBLES and Jennie, his wife, are buried in Allen Cemetery, and have a lot therein".   Signed: R.A.Mills, Hattie Howe, Martha Bacon, Cora Kelley, Wanda E. Shutts, Nellie Shirey and Charles Bidwell.
• Support for the Cemetery provided in Will of Matilda E. ALLEN, known also as Mateal ALLEN, and also as Mathilda ALLEN.
• SHIREY, Handwritten notes reminding (assumed) Caretaker for lot of Nellie SHIREY.  No other listing has been found for burial.
• PHILLIPS, Earl - Handwritten note for Upkeep of lot in cemetery; not listed on D.A.R. list, but, probably buried here;
• GEORGE, Myron - Handwritten note for Upkeep of lot in cemetery; not listed on D.A.R. list, but, probably buried here;
• Cemetery Association turned Cemetery over to Town of Alma in 1961.  Deed recorded July 10, 1961 from Allen Cemetery Association, Inc. turned over all lands (approximately 3 acres) and all funds on hand and in banks to Town of Alma.  Tax map shows cemetery about 1.8 acres. (?)
