Mrs. Pearl Cady Dies After Long Illness

Funeral on Thursday

Allentown – Mrs. Pearl Cady of High Street, Allentown died yesterday afternoon about 2 o’clock in Jones Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for more than a year.

Mrs. Cady was a lifelong resident of Allentown. She was born here Sept 3, 1894 a daughter of Frank and Lillian Barnes Babcock.

She was married Sept 17, 1921 to Earl F. Cady who survives together with one son, Frank E. Cady of Allentown and one cousin, Mrs Oliver S. Blackman, also of Allentown.

Mrs. Cady was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Wellsville.

She was also a member of the Republican County Committee and Treasurer for Allentown Union School District.

The body is at the Frederick Mulholland Funeral Home where friends may call.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

The Rev. Richard A Clark of St. John’s and the Rev. John McKnight of Allentown Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Allentown.
