    "Here is an Obituary of Harriet A. Chalker (my gg grandmother)  Born 1846, died 1922  She is  the daughter of George and Matilda Carpenter Lewis.
   We have not been able  to find out much about George Lewis.  Hoping that  someone will see this Obit  and maybe will know of George Lewis. "

Mrs. Harriet A. Chalker  

Hallsport Woman Died at Home of a Daughter at Farnum , N.Y. , Dec 6th, 1922.

 Mrs. Harriet A. Chalker of Hallsport, died Dec. 6th, 1922 , at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.A. Robinson, at Farnum , N.Y. , after a short illness from apoplexy.

 The deceased was born Oct. 5th, 1846 at Bingham , Pa. , and was a daughter of George Lewis and Matilda Carpenter Lewis.  She was the widow of the late Orin Joseph Chalker.  Mrs. Chalker is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Nellie Hall, of Hallsport; Mrs.  N.H. Leonard of Allentown , Mrs. Ben Lattin, of Nile ; Mrs.  A. E. Cline of Stannards;   Joseph Chalker of Wellsville, Merton Chalker of Bolivar, and Mrs. R.A. Robinson of Farnum , N.Y.   Also by one sister Mrs. E.G. Tompkins of Chicago.

 The body was brought to the home of her son, Joseph Chalker, Wednesday night, where the funeral was held Sunday at 2 p.m. and at the Christian Temple at 2:30 , Rev Flewelling, officiating.  Burial at Stannards.
