Portville – Mrs. Hulda DeGroff of Gleason Hollow Road, died Saturday (Oct. 28, 1972) in the Olean General
Hospital following a brief illness. Born Sept. 18, 1908, at Kushequa, Pa., she was a daughter of August and Anna Johnson Gustafson. She was the widow of J. Howard DeGroff, who died Jan. 2,
1969. She had been a resident of Portville for 45 years. Surviving are a son, James DeGroff of Portville and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State
St., Olean, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held there Tuesday (Oct. 31, 1972) at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Shepard, minister of the Portville
Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee.
