LeMUR FERRINGTON.
Portville – LeMur Ferrington of 16 Anderson Court, died today (May 3, 1972) in Stone Nursing Home, Smethport after a
long illness. Born in West Clarksville, Feb. 9, 1905, he was a son of Carl and Mildred Curfman Ferrington. He married the former Mabel Gustafson who died Aug. 6, 1970. Mr. Ferrington was a
lifetime resident of the area and was employed as a driller in the local oil fields. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church of Portville. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Eloise) Kruek [Kurek]
of Kenmore; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Fisk of Richburg. Friends are being received at Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 51 Main St., Portville, Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday (May 6, 1972) at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard W. Elliott, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill
Cemetery, Portville.
