Olean Times Herald, Monday, June 15, 1942: 

 

PORTVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Johnson Gustafson were held Sunday afternoon (June 14, 1942) at two-thirty o'clock at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Lamur [Lemur] Ferrington.  The Rev. L. M. Casler, pastor of the Obi United Brethren Church, officiated and burial was in the West Clarksville Cemetery.  The pall bearers were Lewis Anderson, Merl Coleman, Harry Fairbanks, Harold Miner, Harold Benson and William Frost.  Those present from out of town include Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gustafson of Duke Center, Catherine McMahon of Cuba; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Miller of Olean; Mr. and Mrs. Eric Isacson and family of Jamestown; Mrs. Agnes Pederson, Ruth Pederson and Forty Pederson of Kushequa, Pa; Irwin Gustafson of Bradford, Pa.
