Mrs. Leon Howden

Fillmore -  Mrs. Ethel M. Howden of Genesee Street died today Friday Oct 13, 1972 at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

 She was born in New York State, Aug 28, 1890 a daughter of Thomas and Jennie Whitney Culver.  She was the widow of Leon Howden, who died Jan 10, 1972.

 Survivors include two sons, Erwin Howden of Rossburg and Wendell Howden of Rochester; a daughter, Mrs. Merlon (Virginia) Bentley of Friendship, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 Friends may call at the Kopler Funeral home, 21 N. Genesee St. from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm Saturday.  Funeral Services there Sunday Oct 15, 1972 at 2 pm will be officiated by the Rev. Burdette C. Fuller minister of the Fillmore United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in East Koy Cemetery in the Town of Pike.
