Mrs. Ilah Haxton

Services Thursday

Mrs. Ilah Haxton, 428 Scott Avenue, died this morning at 9:30 o'clock in Jones Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Haxton was born January 1, 1925 in Wheatland, NY a daughter of of Lewis and Dorothy Stocking Greenman.  She had lived most of her life in Wellsville.

She was married Sept. 13, 1947 to Merle R. Haxton who survives together with her parents and the following brothers and sisters:  Lewis Greenman, Jr., Farmersville; Miss Agnes Greenman and Mrs. Alfred Nickerson both of Wellsville;  Bert Greenman, Frank Greenman, Miss Edith Greenman and Merle Greenman all of South Windsor, Conn.  A half brother, Keith Shelly of South Windsor, also survives.

Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Embser Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. E. W. Krentz will officiate and burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.
