Mrs. Marlie Hodnett

Fillmore – Mrs. Shirley W. Hodnett of 118 W. Main St died today March 17, 1984 in Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

 Born in Caneadea on Apr 16, 1915, she was a daughter of Charles and Anna Munn.  She married Marlie J. Hodnett, who survives.

 Mrs. Hodnett was a graduate of Geneseo State Teachers College, and prior to her retirement, she was an elementary teacher in Fillmore Central School.

 She was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association.

 Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Craig Hodnett and Gary Hodnett, both of Fillmore; two granddaughters, and a sister, Mrs. Marybelle Garrin of Fairport.

 Friends are being received at the Kopler Funeral home, 21 No Genesee St Fillmore Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where funeral services will be held Tuesday March 20, 1984 at 1 pm.  The Rev Richard D. Webster pastor of Fillmore United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.

 Memorials may be made to Fillmore Rescue Squad.
