Erwin D. Maxson, 71 of Cisco, Texas, formerly of Shinglehouse, PA, died, Wednesday July 8, 2009  in Homestead Nursing Home, Cisco after a long illness.

 

Born December 26, 1937 in Shinglehouse, PA, he was a son of Ernest W. and Fern G. Dickerson. ON July 2, 1960, in York, PA he married Sara "Sally" Murphy, who survives.

 

A memorial service will be held (note 1) at a date and place to be announced. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, PA.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 9, Cisco, Texas, 76437, the Cisco Public Library, 600 Avenue GT, Cisco TX 76437, the Texas Lions Camp, PO Box 290247 Kerrville, TX 78029 or to the Oswayo Valley Memorial Library, PO Box 188, Shinglehouse, PA.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
