HOMER JAY PURGOLD

 WELLSVILLE – Homer Jay Purgold, 79 of Weinhauer Hill Road, died Thursday (July 15, 1993).

 Born November 19, 1913 in Union City, N.J., he moved to Wellsville in 1957.

 Mr. Purgold retired in 1975 from Turbodyne in Wellsville.

 He is survived by his wife, Lucon Purgold, one son, Jay Purgold of Pearl River; three step sons, George Bale, Robert Bale and Stephen Bale; one step daughter, Carol Stisser, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

 There will be no prior visitation.  A memorial service for family only will be held at the Congregational Church.
