BENJAMIN H. QUICK

Benjamin H. Quick died at his home, South Fords Brook in the Town of Alma, at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning, Dec. 15th 1908, from old age.

Mr. Quick had been a resident of Alma for forty years.  

He was born in Greenwood, NY on Jan. 2, 1827 being the son of Benjamin Quick and Rebecca Hardy.  He was married to Alice Messler in 1868. 

Deceased is survived by eleven children: C.O.Quick and Ernest Quick of Bolivar; J.C.Quick, Mrs. Hettie Marsh, Mrs. Cora Wheeler and Adrian Quick, of Alma; B.O.Quick, John Quick and Mrs. Tressa Chalker, of Willing; Elmer Quick of Missouri; and Mrs. Pearl Smith of Oklahoma.

The funeral was held Sunday noon, from the school house on Niles Hill, and burial was had in the Bellamy cemetery.  Rev. I.W.Slater, of Stannards, officiated.
