Forrest Redanz Fillmore – Forrest C. Redanz, of RD 1, died Wednesday (Sept 19, 1979) in Cuba Memorial Hospital. Born in the Town of Hume on Jan 19, 1902, he was a son of Charles and Effie Hall Redanz. He married the former Fern C. Leet, who predeceased him in 1975. Mr. Redanz was a retired farmer and was a 50 year member of Oriona Grove Lodge 229 F& AM. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Ernestine) Berg of Rochester, a sister, Mrs. Clayton VanOrsdale of Hornell and four nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Kopler Funeral Home, 21 North Genesee St., Fillmore, today from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm where funeral services will be held Saturday (Sept 22, 1979) at 2 pm. The Rev. Nelson D. Crowell, pastor of Fillmore Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore. Masonic services will be held Friday at 8 pm in the funeral home.
