Mrs. Arthur Wiles Fillmore - Mrs. Emma J. Wiles, 81, died at her home on Main Street Sunday evening Oct 17, 1965 after a long illness. She was born May 21, 1894 in the State of Wisconsin and had lived in Fillmore for the past 35 years. Besides her husband, Arthur Wiles, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Ross of Arcade, NY and Mrs. Arthur Burr of Caneadea; two sons Edwin Griggs of Olean and Manfred Griggs of Hume; two step-sons Dr Elon Wiles and Maurice Wiles, both of Fillmore; a step daughter Mrs. Arthur France of Sinclairville; 21 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being recieved at the family residence on Main Street until noon Wednesday Oct 20, 1965 Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Wednesday at the Fillmore Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore. Flowers are gratefully declined by the family. Memorials if desired may be made to the Fillmore Wesleyan Methodist Church Mission. |
