Mrs. Elon Wiles Fillmore – Mrs. Frances A. Wiles of 16 E Main St died Thursday (Sept 8, 1977) in Fillmore. Born at Fillmore on Dec 10, 1910, she was a daughter of Herbert and Ina Haines Arnold. She married Dr. Elon C. Wiles, who died Sept 4, 1972. Surviving are a son, Alan Wiles of East Aurora; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Nancy) Forrest of Bronxville, six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wessels of Denver, Colo. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Kopler Funeral Home 21 N Genesee St Fillmore, Saturday Sept 10, 1977 at 3 pm. The Rev. Duane Miller, pastor of the Fillmore United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Town of Hume. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. |
