DIED IN ARKPORT ARKPORT-April 1, 1914-Mrs. Julia (Sanford) Ward, 84 years old, one of the most
highly respected women of the village, died late last evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. Arthur Collins following a brief illness. Mrs. Ward is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Collins, of
Arkport, and Mrs. Estella VanScoter of Hornell, and two sons, Lewis Ward of Arkport and Levi ward of Passaic, N.J. The funereal will be held Friday morning at 11:30 o’clock at the home of Mrs. Collins
and at 2:00p.m. at the Bishopville Methodist Church, Burial in Bishopville. (She is the daughter of Jerred Sanford & Rebecca (Vanderbeek) Sanford)
