The Daily Reporter - Jan 18, 1881

Died.  YALE Jan 8th 1881, Louisa A, daughter of Ozias Yale of Willing, aged 39 years.

She had been an invalid for over twenty years, comfortable at times, but never strong.  The sufferings of the last few days were severe, but borne patiently, trusting in the Saviour who had been her friend and comforter through all the long, weary years of her protracted illness.  She passed to her heavenly inheritance.

“We cannot mourn for her release,

So sweet her dreamless rest;

Unbroken, perfect is her peace,

Safe on her Saviour’s Breast.

Soon we shall pass death’s narrow stream

And join our sister there

And our bright crowns the brighter gleam,

For all our sorrows here”
