My Dad learned all the key moves from the "pro's" at an early age."

General Comments Regarding Pictures below:

  • The story I was told was that some equipment used in the construction of the Erie / River Junction traveled to Rossburg, NY on the Pennsy. A track was laid from east of Rossburg, across the Genesse River, then north to end up at the level of the new Erie railroad bed.
Would anyone have anything to add to this?    Jim Gelser
  • Not to confuse the issue but, Camp Dalton was a site related to Mudville. Some have wondered if it had something to do with Dalton, New York. I do not think it did.
    More research needed.
  • Directions to Mudville Tunnel: Take 19A North from Fillmore > watch for Whiskey Bridge, about 3 miles from Rossburg.
Then look for Pennycook Road and travel South.
Or, go to Portageville and take Rt 436 East and watch for Pennycook Rd. Then head south.
