Wellsville Sanitarium

1919 Version of Wellsville Sanitarium. Later became Hotel and was torn down. Trinity Luthern Church now stands on these grounds on North Main Street.

National Aluminum Works

Stood where Memorial Park now stands; Triangle of Stevens/West Pearl & Brooklyn Avenue.

Per Martha Howe's 1963 "History of Wellsville", "It burned in 1914. The ruins were bought by the village and aluminum salvaged from it paid to restore the lot. The boulder & plaque honoring the WWI vets was undertaken by the Wellsville Civic League and dedicated Oct. 1, 1919."

Photo of Postcard taken by Mary Rhodes; original at David A. Howe Library, Wellsville.
