"The PS&N historical society had received a donation of a model building for which they can't identify the prototype. We had the station on exhibit at the Fair this year and the local
newspaper, The Wellsville Reporter” did an article on it and interviewed member Bob Sanders.
Bob was contacted by the owner of the Grocery Store in Belmont who said a good friend of his had made the station. The Builder was originally from the area but worked around the country at
different jobs. We are not at liberty to give his name out at this time.
The gentleman worked for the National Park Service at Cayahoga Valley National Park. The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad passes through this park. The national Park Service built two stations
that are exactly like the model donated to us. The Railroad sent me a photo of the Akron Northside Station located at Akron, Ohio which is an exact duplicate of the model.

Since the model does not have anything to do with our New York State history and the fact that we have no place to display the model, we have offered it to the Cuyahoga Railroad or the
National Park Serviced for display in their offices. We have not been contacted by either group to let us know if they want the station. Since the model is 8 feet long and 2 & ˝ feet wide, we just do not have the space to keep it. We hope to have the model either donated by us or by the person
who constructed it in the near future."
